The Myristicae come from the other side of the oceans, more precisely from the Moluku Islands. But here in Grenada, the gateway to the most tropical part of the Caribbean, they seem to have found their place. The hills of the interior of the country, less subject to the winds of the Atlantic, allow them to thrive - sporting slightly obsessive but generous fruits, which offer us scents of mace and nutmeg, the most elegant of spice scents. This Grenada with deep Hispanic roots might display its penchant for refinement from its very first steps, but the exquisite aging inflicted on it - so to speak - urges it to reveal an attitude for harmony and elegance as well. White chocolate and balsamic suggestions that only years of Scottish expertise and education can impart.
