We did it. It is meant to celebrate our baroque celebration, our community that has never closed in on itself, the team that is always moving forward. Our orchestra, always open to new talent, has spotted a new great soloist. It comes to us from 1997 and it's a Caroni rum - one of the last. You all know the story, of course. Or you've heard of it: the madness of a government dismantling its own distillery, the lost barrels found filled with a rum like very few in the world, capable of addressing a niche of elected officials. Our motto: we prefer legends when they become a concrete reality. This is why, in our Caroni, we detect a powerful and slightly disturbing onset of hydrocarbons, but immediately after a more delicate dose of rubber and black fruits. Then it's coffee, forest wood, and a good length of black pepper. A lively mouth, much more lively than the nose suggests. There's milk chocolate, coconut, dates, and menthol.
