An exceptional first cuvée for the Marie-Louise collection

The first old rum in the range, this 2022 vintage marks a founding step. Made from blue cane in organic agricultural production, distilled in Creole column, it reflects precise know-how and a search for balance. Its ageing in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, followed by refining in new French oak demi-muids, structures a deep and nuanced aromatic profile. Offered at 48.5% vol., in a limited edition of 980 bottles of 50 cl with case, this spirit is aimed at lovers of rum with character and collectors attentive to confidential series.

Aromatic expression and texture

The nose opens with chai black tea, country apricot in jam, vanilla bean, spiced up with black pepper, nutmeg, star anise and caramelized toasted almond. The palate confirms apricot, salted butter biscuit, fudge, honey and propolis, with an extremely silky texture. The retro-olfaction extends apricot, black tea, star anise and vanilla, before a complex and very long finish.
