In addition to the technique practiced for this rum, the Solera, the latter aged at altitude, which gives it this inimitable taste. The barrels used are old sherry, port and bourbon barrels.

Our tasting notes for 18 Solera 1893

Nose : Mocha coffee, apple tarte tatin, caramel and rolling tobacco with vanilla, dark chocolate and light cinnamon.

Palate : Rich and slightly sweet, buttered fruit cake containing plump raisons, gingernut biscuit with lightly cinnamon spiced dry oak and salty caramel.

Finish : Cracked black pepper and candied ginger spiced caramel and fudge cake.
