Under the expert eye of Franck Dormoy and Robert Charles, the rum La Favorite the 1999 La Flibuste cuvée has aged in the tranquillity of the distillery's cellars for more than 20 years.

Once ready, each bottle of rum La Favorite La Flibuste 1999 cuvée is waxed and numbered by hand. A true limited edition, this ageless rum from Martinique remains faithful to the aromatic profile that has made it famous.

For this new vintage, the 1999 La Flibuste rum reveals vanilla and roasted notes with a hint of liquorice. The candied fruit is coated in dark chocolate, for a delicious finish.

Our tasting notes for Cuvée la Flibuste Vintage 1999

Nose : Chaleureux et épicé, caramel cuit, miel d’acacia, pruneaux cuits, bois cirés.

Palate : Attaque onctueuse, puissante, puis se dégage une étonnante richesse aromatique, où on retrouve les arômes perçus au nez, mais aussi de la vanille, de la crème brûlée, de la banane séchée, ainsi que de nombreuses épices.

Finish : La finale est un peu plus boisée et astringente,tout en persistant longuement sur les principales notes fruitées et épicées.
