A tribute to the Reunionese terroir

From the Savanna distillery in Saint-André on the island of Reunion, this traditional white rum is distilled in columns before being refined for 4 months in terracotta amphorae from the "Wine and Earth" selection. A drip reduction in amphora allows the aromas to be refined while maintaining the precision of the varietal profile.

Tasting notes

The nose opens with fresh and vegetal notes: cut herbs, green banana, zan, eucalyptus, blackberry, accompanied by lemongrass, peppermint and bay leaf. On the palate, the attack is lively, with a texture that is both carpeting and smooth. The finish, elegant and persistent, reveals flavors of fresh almond and lemony green papaya. A complex and biting local rum.
