History

In Guatemala, the House Zacapa has established itself as a reference for high-altitude rum. At 2,300 m, the cool climate favours slow ripening. Under the direction of master blender Lorena Vásquez, the blend aims for balance and complexity, the pillars of a great terroir rum.

Presentation of the Zacapa box

Edición Negra is the result of a demanding Solera method and ageing in various barrels, including a high-heat American oak barrel that intensifies the woody and smoky structure. The box includes two glasses designed to concentrate the aromas and magnify the tasting of this elegant spirit.

Tasting notes

Deep mahogany colour. Complex nose, mixing smoky, woody and spicy notes. Round and balanced on the palate, carried by dried fruit and nuances of chocolate. The long and persistent finish confirms the sophistication of an exceptional rum.

What does the Edicion Negra Box contain?

This box contains a 70cl bottle of the Edicion Negra Zacapa as well as two "perfect serve" glasses. These glasses are suitable for Zacapa tasting.
