Since 1947, the Arawaks distillery has belonged to the family of Fritz Vaval, an emblematic figure of the Haitian clairin. Located in Cavaillon, it perpetuates production on a human scale, anchored in an approach that respects nature and local traditions.
Artisanal distillation of great purity
The Clairin - Vaval 2022 is made from pure "Madame Meuze" cane juice, fermented using indigenous yeasts. Distillation takes place in a copper column with ten trays, giving the spirit a fine yet complex expression. This clairin nazon, with an alcohol content of 55.1°, seduces with its intensity and authenticity, a true reflection of the Haitian terroir and the unique know-how of the Arawaks distillery.

Made only in Haiti, Clairin is a brandy produced from sugar cane, just like agricultural rum.
