A pure expression of the Martinique terroir

From the 2024 harvest, Cap 45° comes from a precise blend of plots with limestone, clay and basalt soils. After long adjustments, the Cellar Masters have chosen a degree of 45% vol., designed to reveal the aromatic richness of the cane while offering good accessibility. This cuvée reflects the artisanal mastery and agricultural identity of the Braud & Quennessonhouse.

Freshness, tension and finesse

Visually clear and brilliant, its colour reveals fat and slow tears. The nose, lively and vegetal, opens with lemon and maracuja before evolving towards nuances of fresh cane, lime blossom and jasmine. On the palate, the supple structure unfolds with citrus notes and a slightly bitter finish, carried by ripe cane.

A rum made for mixology

Designed for creation, the Cap 45° sublimates classic cocktails — mojito, ginger mule, daiquiri — as well as modern mocktails. With its liveliness and balance, it stands out as a versatile and expressive base, revealing all the character of Martinique rum.

The Habitation Grand Fonds, which houses the Braud & Quennesson rum distillery, named after the engineers who created the sugar factory, was built in 1866.
