Our tasting notes for Opus 5

Nose : Powerful and dominated by dried fruits notes. Here the scents of orange and gingerbread are revealed with light hints of liquorice.

Palate : Intense notes of dried fruits combine with delicate aromas of grey pepper and spice.

The Rivière du Mât distillery is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island, it was created in Rivière du Mât in 1886 and transferred to St Benoit in 1984.
