La Favorite La Digue 2023 (Cire abimée)
La Favorite La Digue 2023: an exceptional vintage
The La Favorite La Digue 2023 is a single-vineyard and monovarietal rum from the La Favorite distillery in Martinique. The sugar cane used for this vintage comes from a small three-hectare plot near the Bel Air River, behind the distillery. This unique and sunny terroir gives this AOC Martinique agricultural white rum a remarkable personality.
A fresh and floral flavour profile
The tasting of La Digue 2023 reveals subtle aromas of fresh cane, accompanied by delicate floral notes and the liveliness of citrus. On the palate, sugar cane is omnipresent, while vegetal and tangy nuances bring a unique touch of complexity.
A spicy and peppery finish
This 2023 vintage ends on an interesting finish, marked by notes of black pepper, adding depth and character to this rum already very popular with connoisseurs.
